Agents of Change is designed to teach participants how to think, rather than what to think. The program draws on systems thinking, design thinking, leadership and educational psychology approaches. It teaches participants how to develop their sense of empathy, learn to ask the right questions, approach problems from a systems perspective, think creatively and finally how to leverage their strengths to make a difference in their community.
The SIDELab is a group of educators, students, consultants, public servants, designers and artists who are interested in understanding the intersections of Systems Thinking, Integrative Thinking, Design Thinking and Evaluative Thinking.Visit the SIDELab
Collaborative social intervention either adopt an experimental or prototyping approach, or explicitly encourage evaluation or shared measurement. They are usually referred to as being Lab-like or Collective Impact approaches to social change. We work with organisation to help discover, design and implement strategic innovation approaches.
The Collaboration Cafe is an evolving space where we discuss various aspects of collaborative approaches to social change. Topics include collective wisdom, collective intelligence, shared economy, co-working spaces and strategic collaboration for change.
In this space, we work with evaluators, social entrepreneurs, foundations, social purpose organisations, private sector organisations, and academics to develop approaches towards understanding evaluation for social innovation. The hope is that by improving approaches to how we measure interventions, we can help organisations improve their strategies towards achieving systemic social change.
